Mission and Values
Our
Mission: By God's
grace and for His glory, we exist to cultivate a passion to prize
and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our mission comes to life as we conduct every facet of our
body life (services, ministries and activities) around these 4 core
values.
Our Core
Values:
Exalting
God We value a
God-centered lifestyle of worship that gladly reflects God's
radiance seven days a week, culminating corporately in gathered
worship (Psalm 37:4, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Hebrews
10:24-25).
Expounding
His Word We value preaching
that carefully and accurately explains what Scripture says in a
particular passage, conveying its meaning in the context of
redemptive history and calling for its application in the context
of everyday life (Nehemiah 8:8).
We value the
sufficiency of the inspired, inerrant Word of God to provide
instruction and correction in all matters of life and Godliness
(Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Evangelizing the Lost We value sharing the
Good News of the Gospel which, through God's Word and the ministry
of the Holy Spirit, is able to awaken those who are dead in their
trespasses and sins to a new life in Christ (Matthew 28:19-20,
Ephesians 2:5, Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 2:1-10).
Encouraging
One Another in Love We value frequent
gathering and fellowship, both formally and informally, as an
opportunity to love, edify and spur one another to good deeds
(Hebrews 10:23-25, Acts 2:42, Ephesians 4).

| What we believe
about...
The
Bible
The Bible is sufficient
to provide answers for all matters of life and Godliness, and the
only inspired, inerrant Word of God (2 Peter 1:3, 2 Timothy
3:16-17).
The
Gospel The Gospel is the Good News that God sent His Son to die
the death we deserved for our sin, and credits Christ’s perfect
righteousness to those who, by faith, repent of their sins and cast
their Hope in Him as their Lord, Savior and highest treasure
(Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 3:18).
Conversion
Conversion is when the Word of God, through the work of the Holy
Spirit, awakens someone from being dead in their trespasses and
sins to having new life in Jesus Christ (Ezekiel 36:26, 2
Corinthians 5:17).
Evangelism
Evangelism is sharing the gospel, not as if to sell a ticket to
heaven or a more comfortable life, but to glorify God in obedience
to Christ's Great Commission to go and make disciples. Only God can
convert a soul, and believers are bearers of His Word and His Good
News (Matthew 28:19, Galatians 1:11-12).
Church
Membership Much more than a name on a list, church membership is a
binding covenant with a local church that is manifested in faithful
attendance, cheerful giving, unceasing prayer, close fellowship and
honest spiritual accountability among its members, who collectively
exercise their unique gifts for the glory of God (Ephesians
4:11-16).
Church
Discipline
A biblical commitment to church discipline upholds the holiness of
God, the seriousness of sin, and the beauty of forgiveness when
receiving the repentant member who returns to fellowship. When
carried out biblically, prayerfully and lovingly, biblical church
discipline glorifies God and protects the reputation and purity of
the church, as a bride awaiting its groom (Matthew 18).
Church
Leadership
A plurality of Elders who are all biblically qualified to shepherd
the flock of God with great gladness through teaching the Word of
God, watching over the flock and devoting their lives to
sacrificial servant-leadership (Acts 20:28, 1 Peter 5:2, Titus
1:5-9).
